Personal Story
I grew up in Whistler, BC — skiing powder, riding mtn bikes, and chasing adventure before I even knew what the word “career” meant. That mountain lifestyle shaped my mindset: explore fully, commit boldly, and trust your instincts. I didn’t grow up dreaming of the Olympics — I just followed what lit me up, step by step, all in. Turns out, that path led somewhere pretty spectacular.
Olympic Gold
In 2010, skicross made its Olympic debut — right here in my hometown. With my friends and family watching from the sidelines, I raced with every ounce of heart I had. Everything I’d learned, everything I’d worked for, came together in one golden moment. Winning Olympic gold wasn’t just a personal victory — it was a dream come true for the entire community that raised me.
